I Get Bored
I can't tell if Barb is bored or playing Cowboys and Indians there. I'm going with bored because she is not a lazy lady. Which is why I think she's awesome. She has done so many different things in her life. I don't know why, but I get bored easily. I work better when I have a lot to balance. Of course I'm always complaining when I have a lot to balance that I need to back off on some commitments, but when I back off I'm not happy that I'm not balancing more.
I think it's a gene thing that I can't sit still. Oh, now I can sit and think up stories, but I can't just sit on the couch if I'm not also multitasking with my laptop or something else. Basically, I don't know how to relax. I'm never content to wait, although life doesn't really give me a choice on that sometimes.
Book 3, Eros, is coming out soon, and I'm trying to get knee deep in Book 4, Storge. Yet, all I want to do is think about this new story idea I have, although I don't know if I want to make it a book or screenplay. This is a good problem to have.
So, don't be bored, ever. Do lots of stuff. You won't remember all those relaxing times, but you will remember working toward goals and achieving them.
