Agape - Book 2
Since I wrote another post titled "Do Judge a Book by Its Cover," clearly I take my own book covers pretty seriously. That and I work in corporate marketing, so I don't underestimate the power of eye-catching graphic design.
Let me tell you. I love my first two covers. If these are the indication of the last two, I will be ecstatic with the overall design of The Sisters of Gamma Omicron Delta Series.
I hit the jackpot with a publisher who gives its authors the opportunity to have input prior to cover design. That doesn't mean I take a red pen and mark up 80 drafts. Nope, and I wouldn't do that, ever, because I'm not a graphic designer. I'm a writer. I trust the person who studied graphic design to advise me, a writer, of what works best.
And let me tell you. The graphic designer took my characters and wishlist and just voila, made it happen. If my characters were real people, they would be my best friends. I love these girls, their bless-it struggles, and how they keep going despite the challenges. I truly believe Courtney would be so proud of this cover. #Agape
